Competitions: Fashion Season Highlights

As you may be aware, The 3rd Fashion in Film Festival, came to a cinematic close yesterday. I hope both prize winners enjoyed their evenings at the BFI. However, if you missed out, don't fret; London is enjoying one very stylish season. In this spirit, the fantastic French film channel, Cinémoi, is holding two fashionable competitions. Competition 1)

The first competition, is for Dior Illustrated: René Gruau and the Line of Beauty at London Fashion Week venue, Somerset House. The exhibition, running until 9th January 2011, showcases stunning artworks by renowned illustrator René Gruau, including original illustrations for Christian Dior perfumes and Dior Haute Couture. Competition 2)

Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky, DVD
Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky, on DVD
The second competition, celebrates the DVD release of Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky: an unbelievably stylish, luxurious and sexy biopic about Coco Chanel's tragic and passionate love affair. The film was nominated for this year's César Award, for Best Costume Design. Enter here, for Cinémoi's Coco & Igor competition.


Competition closing dates:

  1. That film about Chanel and Stravinsky is wonderful, based on the book which I also read and adored. I love gaining insight into Chanel, a woman ahead of her time.
